Busan Scouting Support Program for International Production
  

To promote foreign and international co-productions in the Metropolitan City of Busan, Busan Film Commission provides accommodation for those who are engaged in the location scouting activity in Busan. This program is conducted by Busan Film Commission and its benefits are offered in the form of goods.Support Detail - Provide accommodation up to a maximum of 30 nights for filmmakers (director, producer, scripter, cinematographer, location manager, etc.) per project in Busan.※ In case of main crew such as director, cinematographer, producer, etc. round-trip air tickets can be provided depending on the review of a project.Eligibility? Eligible ProjectThe foreign feature or internationally co-produced film and TV drama that plan to shoot in the City of Busan

? The applicant must be the producer of film and there is no restriction on the applicant's nationality.? Internationally co-produced films shall be eligible only when the minimum financial contribution from each co-producer is over 20% in case of co-production between two countries, and over 10% for each co-producer in case of co-production among three or more countries.  
Support Determination and Process
- The decision for the Busan scouting support will be conducted by the Screening Committee, organized by Busan Film Commission.- The reservation and payment of accommodation would be conducted through Busan Film Commission based on the submitted scouting plan in Busan.- Busan Film Commission will designate place of accommodation.Application proceduresAt least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the scouting in Busan, the applicant must submit the application and written documents.? Application Materials - Application Form (Downloadable at Busan Film Commission’s website)- Synopsis and Full Script / Treatment- Detailed scouting plan in Busan- Resume / Filmography of major staff members, such as director, producer, actors, etc.- A copy of Distribution or Pre-sales Agreement with signature- A copy of the Agreement of Co-production and the relevant documents (only for Korean Production Company)? Once a project is approved to receive the support, any major amendments in schedule and recipients, etc. must be reported to Busan Film Commission prior to the beginning of the scouting activity.
